Third-party vendors counter back to what the printer vendors have to say by saying that the printer companies simply want to scare consumers by making statements, so that the customers don’t shy away from their branded but expensive cartridges. Third-party manufactures also make a point that the branded and so-called original cartridges are overpriced in order to subsidize the artificially inexpensive printers.
